16 January 2008, Hong Leong Yamaha Motor Sdn. Bhd. launched the Yamaha FZ150i model, Malaysia’s first 150cc fuel injection street model at the First World Hotel, Genting Highlands Genting Highlands, Pahang. The newly developed 150cc liquid cooled 4-stroke SOHC single cylinder 4 valve engine complete with fuel injection system, forged piston, diasil cylinder and balancer offers smooth power delivery and torque for superb and exhilarating performance. The fuel injection system which Yamaha has successfully incorporated into the FZ150i ; optimises fuel and air mixture resulting in exceptional engine response, acceleration, startability and fuel consumption plus clean emission. Couple with this a link-type monocross suspension which minimises vibrations and an exposed delta-box frame for stability and maneuverability for excellent handling and riding comfort.

1st Quarter 2010, Hong Leong Yamaha launch a new variant of the FZ, it’s the same cosmetic upgrade (shield headlamp, new color schme) as the 2010 Indonesia Vixion. No engine modification was done.

Kenapa perlu nak dyno test? Ni cerita panjangnya dalam bahasa inggeris. Cerita pendeknya ialah untuk mengetahui performance jentera anda selepas dimodifikasi.

Dikala ini anda boleh membuat berbagai modifikasi untuk motorsikal FZ150i, dari blok, throttle body, fuel management system dan berbagai lagi. Tapi adakah modifikasi ini betul2 meningkatkan performance jentera anda?

Setakat ini hanya satu sahaja tempat yang khusus untuk mendyno testkan motor FZ150i.

FCU REVIEW

Ulasan review kali ini ialah produk FCU atau nama panjangnya Fuel Control Unit. Di hasilkan khas untuk motorsikal variasi FZ150i, Vixion dan R15.

Apa sebenarnya FCU ni? Nak tahu cerita panjang boleh pergi ke laman web rasminya dan kalau nak bersoal jawab atau berhujah boleh pergi ke laman support forumnya. Cerita pendeknya; FCU ialah alat untuk control penggunaan minyak pada setiap RPM bagi motor yang menggunakan FUEL INJECTION. Motor yang pakai CARBURATER tak boleh pakai alat ini.
